One day,
a quiet thought passed through me—

Maybe I don’t have to try so hard.

Until then,
I had been holding myself a certain way,
trying to be enough,
trying to stay connected.

There was always
a small tension somewhere inside me,
like I was gently bracing myself.

But that day,
something loosened.

I didn’t have to reach out.
I didn’t have to fill the silence.

And in that small space,
something shifted.
The air felt softer.
The moment, more open.

Then, quietly—
“Would you like to join us for tea?”

A simple invitation,
from someone I had never spoken to before.

And yet,
I found myself saying yes
without hesitation.

No effort,
no planning—
just following the flow of that moment.

And there it was—
a gentle, easy time
I hadn’t been trying to create.

Sometimes,
when we stop trying to make something happen,
something begins to unfold on its own.
Like a breeze
that can only pass through
when we finally let it in.

Let your shoulders soften, just a little.

You might find
the world opening—
in ways you didn’t expect.
