卒業式を終えたら
少しだけ早く訪れる春休み。

After the graduation ceremony,
spring comes to us a little early.

特別な予定は、まだ立てていない。

We haven’t made any special plans—

旅行の計画も、
どこかに出かける約束もないけれど、
それでも、なんだか楽しみだなと思っている。

no trips, no outings.
And yet, I find myself quietly looking forward to it.

息子とふたり、
少しゆっくりした朝を迎えて、
のんびり映画を観たり、
お昼ごはんを一緒に作ったり、
お菓子を食べながら、
取りとめのない話をしたりする。

Just my son and me.
Waking up a little later,
watching movies without rushing,
making lunch together,
sharing snacks,
and talking about nothing in particular.

ただ、それだけの時間。

That’s all.

どこにも行かず、
何かをがんばるわけでもなく、
肩の力を抜いて、
「今」をいっしょに過ごすだけ。

No schedules,
no goals to chase,
just letting our shoulders drop
and being present—together.

この春は、
あえて“なにもしない時間”を
選んでみるのもいいかもしれない。

This spring,
maybe I’ll choose to spend time
doing nothing on purpose.

子どもと過ごす春休みは、
もう、そう何度もあるわけじゃないから。

After all,
there won’t be so many more spring breaks like this.

静かで、ささやかで、
でも心に残るようなひとときを
そっと大切にしてみようと思う。

Quiet, ordinary days
that linger in the heart—
I want to hold them close
while they’re still here.
