ある人の話を聞いていて、
胸が少し苦しくなった。
Listening to someone speak,
I felt a quiet sadness.
起きた出来事そのものではなく、
そこにある怒りや悲しみが
今もずっと続いているように見えたから。
Not because of what had happened,
but because the anger
and sorrow still seemed
to be living there.
もちろん、
傷ついたことがあったのだと思う。
I’m sure
there had been hurt.
許せないこともあったのだと思う。
I’m sure
there were things
that felt impossible to forgive.
でも、
過去の出来事は変えられない。
But the past
cannot be changed.
変えられないものを握り続けるのは、
きっと苦しい。
And carrying
what cannot be changed
must be exhausting.

私は、
何が正しかったのかより、
These days,
I’m less interested in deciding
who was right.
これからどうしたいのかを考えていたい。
I’m more interested in asking
what comes next.
起きたことは
起きたこととして受け止めて、
What do I want to do now?
How do I want to move forward?
Maybe we can accept
what happened,
without carrying it forever.
その先を歩いていけたらと思う。
Maybe letting go
isn’t the only way.
手放すというより
そこに置いていく。
Maybe sometimes,
we can simply
leave it there
and keep walking.
そんな選び方もあるのかもしれない。
