One day,
my daughter looked up and smiled.
“Not exactly a picture-perfect sky,”
she said.

She wasn’t wrong.
The sky was soft and gray,
with clouds scattered here and there.

A few days later,
my son looked up.
“Wow… it’s beautiful.”
Before I knew it,
he was already running to take a picture.

For some reason,
both moments stayed with me.

Of course,
they were different skies.
But perhaps
that wasn’t the only difference.

Some days our hearts feel light.
Some days they’re somewhere else.
Some days they’re simply tired.

And somehow,
the world changes with us.

So if today’s sky
doesn’t speak to you,
that’s okay.

Another day,
the sky may quietly ask you to look up.
